I recently spent some time in the hospital
Where I gained some perspective about health. Nothing compares to sound health, and no amount of wealth in this world can be offered to someone
Who he/she is hanging on a thin thread
For life , than health it self. He/she could trade all his/possession for another shot in life again, a second chance. The truth is life is bitter yet more sweet and at the end of the day if you could take a look back in retrospect, can you gladly say , "I'll gladly do it all again" or "I wish I did this or that" or can you gladly say " I've had a good run, with no regrets" ? I'll confidently say it's only right to live free, fearlessly, reckless at times , but make great memories, and never at a cost. In much recklessness we tend to neglect the importance of our dear health in terms of excessive alcohol, drug abuse, excessive sugar, cigarette's and so on. There's a flip side to everything we like and Love, mostly in the smallest of things in our lives. either we have control or we've lost out to being at the passenger seat to these vices, by our hopeless compulsion to abuse or be used. I'm not here to judge, for no human is perfect and we all have our personal flaws.
So I ask that we take time to ponder on this; we should look closely at our health /parts of our bodies like different ministries holding a country(our body) together. Being interdependent and of value to each other, contributing pricelessly to the growth and well-being of each other. I ask thus, ponder about your body/health in this sense, and closely observe patiently how you progress and grow in tranquillity.
Take control, stay blessed , stay safe & healthy.
